This is not a hotel, it's a hostel in a very dangerous and run down area. Do not stay here if with children. The corridors are like staying in a run down council building, the noise from outside, due to old windows, is horrific and in all not a nice place to stay. For the same price get yourself booked into the Premier Inn. These places should be shut down. However, the guy on reception was lovely, it's the owners that should be ashamed of themselves, advertising a hotel that is far worse and or at the same level as a hostel.

Our recent 8 night stay at Hotel Amba was very enjoyable. The hotel and room were basic and clean. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. Excellent location to public transportation. We would stay there again.

Hotel has very good location, withing walking distance to centre, tram stop is also nearby, train station is just opposite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced. However, be aware that rooms do not have air conditioner. You cannot open window, if your room facing Arnulfstrasse - it is very noisy street 24h per day. Ask for room facing back facade.

We stay just one night at the hotel, was good.Clean room,not big but enough space for 3 persons.The breakfast was ok,the buffet have enough things to choose.The crew was very friendly and professional. The hotel is close the main train station,and 200m from bus station.Very good location.

Our room was located on the fourth floor facing the train station. Unfortunately the elevator was super small and slow so we usually had to take the stairs and the sound from the trains was loud during the night. The room was clean though it had a small toilet/shower (2.5’x2.5’) area. It had a decent location to food and sightseeing!
